I once roamed and rambled all over this land,
I thought I'd find happiness that would be grand;
But alas, I found out sure that wasn't for me,
Now I've settled down at me home by the sea.

Now I'm not a fisherman, that you can tell,
By looking at me and me lifestyle as well;
I've an acre of land that suits me to a tee,
I'll raise a few crops at me home by the sea.

Well, the seasons too short
for much farming, I know,
But I am determined to make it a go;
And if things don't work out sure, the wiser I'll be,
I'll still have me farm and me home by the sea.

Now I'm not a fisherman, that you can tell,
By looking at me and me lifestyle as well;
I've an acre of land that suits me to a tee,
I'll raise a few crops at me home by the sea.

Now I'm not a fisherman, that you can tell,
By looking at me and me lifestyle as well;
I've an acre of land that suits me to a tee,
I'll raise a few crops at me home by the sea.

Well, you know I'm a farmer, and that you can tell,
By the dirt on me hands and me logans as well;
I've an acre of land that suits me to a tee,
And I'll be a farmer at me home by the sea.

I'll raise a few crops at me home by the sea.
